Sunquest Gardens Holiday Resort Overview
First Impressions
Honestly, when I first pulled up to Sunquest Gardens Holiday Resort, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star property — but this place actually surprised me. The gardens really do live up to the name, with these lovely Mediterranean plantings that immediately make you feel like you’re somewhere special. It’s tucked away on Douriou Ippou Street in Germasogeia, which is one of those quieter residential areas just outside Limassol proper where you can actually hear yourself think.
Location & Getting Around
You know what I love about this spot? It’s close enough to Limassol’s action that you can easily pop into town for dinner or shopping, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with all the tourist chaos. The Potamos Yermasoyias area is actually pretty charming — there are some great local tavernas within walking distance, and the beach is just a short drive away. Plus, they’ve got free parking right on site, which honestly saved me a headache since finding a spot in central Limassol can be a real pain.
The Room Experience
My room was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy but everything worked properly — which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during those hot Cyprus afternoons, and I actually appreciated that the decor was simple rather than trying too hard. The balcony overlooked part of the gardens, and it became my favorite spot for morning coffee. The bathroom was a decent size too, with good water pressure in the shower.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is pretty solid — they do both continental and full English options, so whether you want just pastries and coffee or the whole works with eggs and bacon, you’re covered. I mean, it’s not going to win any culinary awards, but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety to keep you happy for a week-long stay. The dining area gets good morning light, and the staff actually remembers how you like your coffee after a couple days, which is a nice touch.
Why Guests Love It
What really struck me is how many people I met who were return visitors — apparently this place has quite a loyal following, and I can see why. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay pleasant, and there’s something refreshing about a hotel that focuses on doing the basics really well rather than trying to be something it’s not. Couples especially seem drawn to the peaceful atmosphere and the fact that you can have a romantic dinner in town but come back to somewhere quiet and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can actually unwind without breaking the bank.
Hotels near me in Limassol deliver quick drives to Troodos villages, beach clubs, and kite-surf bays.

I liked everything the location and the hotel apt have pool and playground. Also, I liked the apartment that they reserved for us. It's on the ground floor. Super love it, especially when u have a toddler who wants to explore. I really recommend this apartment for those families who want to have a break. This hotel apartment is very comfy!

The owners and staff were very friendly. It is my 2nd time staying there so I already knew that!!
The pool. Even though the weather wasn't really warm enough to swim, the pool area was still open and I did spend a few days relaxing in the sun. I was also brave enough just the one time to have a swim!! ❄️Andrew from United Kingdom (6/10)
Terrible directions, no signs and no signs and no street lights
