Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels, you immediately get that feeling — you know, when a place just feels right from the moment you step through the doors. This five-star property sits right on Georgios A Street in Germasogeia, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. The lobby has this elegant Mediterranean vibe that doesn’t feel stuffy or overdone, which I really appreciated. You can tell they’ve put thought into every detail without making it feel like a museum you’re afraid to touch.
The Location Magic
Here’s what I love about staying in Germasogeia — you’re technically in Limassol, but you get this quieter, more refined atmosphere that couples absolutely adore (and trust me, I can see why they rate it so highly). The beach is literally right there, and I mean right there — no long walks or shuttle rides needed. What’s brilliant is that you get easy access to Limassol’s nightlife and shopping when you want it, but you can retreat to this more peaceful stretch of coast when you don’t. The free private parking is actually a huge deal here since finding spots along the Cyprus coast can be a real headache during peak season.
Luxury Done Right
The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows that opened onto a balcony with direct sea views — and when I say direct, I mean you’re practically hanging over the Mediterranean. The furnishings strike that perfect balance between luxury and comfort; everything feels premium but lived-in, if that makes sense. The marble bathroom was spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re bumping into everything, and the rainfall shower was honestly one of those small pleasures that made each day feel a bit more special. Air conditioning worked perfectly too, which you definitely need during Cyprus summers.
Dining and Amenities
The main restaurant serves this fantastic mix of Mediterranean and international cuisine — I particularly loved their fresh seafood selections that change based on the daily catch. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking the water, and there’s something pretty magical about starting your day with that view and proper Cyprus coffee. The spa facilities are well-appointed without being overwhelming; sometimes these luxury hotels go overboard, but they’ve kept things refined and actually relaxing. The infinity pool area becomes this perfect spot for afternoon lounging, especially since it never felt overcrowded even during busy periods.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how many people come back — and I mean, you notice the repeat guests chatting with staff like old friends. That tells you something about both the service quality and the overall experience. The staff genuinely seem to remember preferences and go out of their way to make things smooth, but without that hovering feeling some luxury hotels can have. For couples especially, this place hits all the right notes — romantic without being cheesy, sophisticated without being pretentious, and positioned perfectly for both relaxation and exploration of the Limassol area. It’s the kind of place where you actually look forward to coming back to your room each evening.
The concierge service in Limassol arranges coastal yacht picnics, boutique winery safaris, and private tours through Kourion.

Breakfast Buffet was very good and well stocked – view from terrace is wonderful, staff are attentive. The lobby bar has attentive staff also and good range of drinks and comfortable seating w – and outdoor seating is also nice. We had dinner at the fusion restaurant one night – very good Korean options. Our room was spacious and well furnished. It's a hotel that cater equally well to business and leisure and even family guests. Some guests swam in the sea in the morning – and some even the pool.

My recent stay at The Royal Apolonia was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff's professionalism and friendliness made us feel right at home. Our sea view room was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, providing a perfect sanctuary to unwind.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The restaurant staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, offering a diverse menu that catered to all tastes. With three lovely restaurants and a vibrant hotel bar, there was always something delightful to enjoy. The staff in the bar were particularly chatty and quick, serving high-quality wines, drinks, and snacks that added to the overall experience.
Visiting in December, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s lively atmosphere—it was buzzing with energy! It was the perfect place to recharge while falling in love with the beautiful island.
It’s clear why The Royal Apolonia is a top hotel. We can’t wait to return in the future! Thank you for making our stay so special!Yigal from Israel (9/10)
