Pirella House Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Pirella House on a quiet side street in Limassol, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical tourist hotel. It’s tucked away on Pelentri Street, just off the main Arch. Makariou III avenue, which honestly works in its favor — you’re close enough to everything but far enough from the noise. The building itself has this understated charm that feels more like a well-maintained residential property than a commercial hotel, and I mean that in the best possible way.

The Perfect Spot

What really struck me about the location is how couples seem to gravitate toward this place, and after spending time here, I totally get why they rate it so highly. You’re walking distance from Limassol’s city center, but the neighborhood has this peaceful, almost residential vibe that’s perfect when you want to escape the bustle. The main shopping areas and restaurants are literally a few minutes away, yet you can actually get a good night’s sleep here. Plus, there’s parking right on site, which — trust me — is worth its weight in gold in this part of Cyprus.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for a three-star property. Nothing fancy, but everything felt clean and well-maintained, with that kind of attention to detail you don’t always expect at this price point. The furnishings are simple but comfortable, and there’s actually decent natural light, which makes the space feel bigger than it is. You know what I appreciated most? The little touches — like having enough outlets near the bed and a proper workspace if you need to catch up on emails. The apartment-style layout with a small kitchenette added genuine convenience.

Local Insights

Here’s something the guidebooks won’t tell you — the staff here genuinely knows the area. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just point me toward the obvious tourist spots but suggested this fantastic local taverna about ten minutes away that I never would have found otherwise. The front desk team seems to actually live in Limassol, which makes all the difference when you’re looking for authentic experiences rather than just the standard tourist circuit. Their local knowledge truly enhances your stay.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, Pirella House works because it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, reliable place to stay that gets the fundamentals right — clean rooms, helpful staff, great location, and yes, that free parking I mentioned earlier. The fact that it consistently gets such high ratings tells you everything you need to know about the experience. It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep well, start your day without stress, and actually feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel. This three-star property delivers exceptional value.

Hotels in Limassol line palm promenades, marina boardwalks, and cobbled lanes near the medieval castle.

Reviews of Pirella House

  • Trixie from United Kingdom (10/10)

Gorgeous little place in the mountains, interior and design was stunning, wish it had been cold so we could have used the fire ha. Ideal location to visit the winery which is an absolute must. Communication was great throughout, I was immediately messaged after booking with directions, WiFi etc. Highly recommend visiting and staying here.

  • Nikos from Cyprus (10/10)

The apartment was fully renovated, very spacious and it had everything we needed! It was clean and very cozy! Great location in a quiet area! Even though there is no curtain in the bathroom, we were provided with a tool that you could easily clean the leaked water which was great. Would definitely stay again!

  • Irene from Cyprus (9/10)

Cozy place, very helpful and friendly host.

  • Alexandros from Cyprus (10/10)

It was cosy, newly renovated (unlike many cabins/apartments found up in the mountains), it was a clean and calming space to be in. There was so many necessities found there, such as shampoo/soaps/rubbish bags, cutlery, pots/pans, cleaning products, etc! Despina was great, she was very kind and helpful, which we appreciated.

  • Mikaela from Cyprus (9/10)

    The property was renovated.

  • Natalya from Russia (10/10)

Very nice place. The apartment has a cozy veranda and a view of the garden. The house was very clean. Perfect. We were a little confused about the building, but the landlord was always in touch. Remote check-in and check-out. Unfortunately near the apartment was a big restaurant where there was a wedding till 3 a.m. It was awful we could not sleep at all.
